Our Why
We built Faire Growth Agency because we’ve lived it firsthand.
We run our own Faire stores and have been on Faire since the platform launched. Over the years, we’ve watched the marketplace evolve, algorithm changes, shifting buyer behavior, new competitors entering, promotion trends, and the highs and lows that come with any wholesale channel.
What we learned is simple: the brands that win on Faire aren’t always the ones with the “best” product, they’re the ones with the best-managed store. The ones who stay organized, stay searchable, stay retailer-friendly, and keep improving the parts of the shop that actually drive orders and reorders.
Through years of testing inside our own stores, we built a repeatable system that helps brands grow year over year, without relying on luck or last-minute scrambling. Faire Growth Agency exists to bring that same system to other founders, so their Faire store stays strong, competitive, and consistently moving forward.
The Founder
Matt Lawenda - Founder
I’ve spent 15+ years in real B2B wholesale sales, marketing, trade shows, operations, and accounting, inside a family-run business where results and margins matter. I grew up around both sides of the table: my mother owned eight home & gift retail stores in Southern California for over 30 years, and my father ran a fashion accessories wholesale brand for more than 30 years. For the last 15+ years, my wife Lisa and I have managed our family wholesale business, working with retailers, reps, and agencies across the country.
I also have close family, friends, and mentors who are career sales reps and sales agency owners, so I’m constantly plugged into what’s working on the road—what retailers are asking for, what buyers respond to, and how strong brands position themselves to win.
